What is SDS PROGRAM?

The study direct stream (SDS) program is a program that will speed up the processing for the full-time studies attending universities and colleges in Canada for Indians. Canada has launched a new rule, SDS (Study Direct Stream) for applying for the Study Visa. SDS has replaced SPP, which was started in 2018.

REQUIREMENTS FOR INDIAN STUDENTS FOR SDS VISA PROCESSING:

·        Minimum IELTS score for SDS visa must be 6 bands in each module for UG/PG courses.

·        Copy of your acceptance letter from a Designated Learning Institution.

·        Copy of your upfront medical exam confirmation document.

REQUIREMENT AFTER APPLYING

·        Full tuition fees for the first year of your study should be paid in an advance.

·        Colleges and Institutions must have registered Designated Learning Institutions (DLI) numbers.

·        Guaranteed Investment Certificate (GIC) of $10000 will be mandatory to buy.

VISA PROCESSING

The visa processing time for SDS student visa applications will be around 45 days or less.
